Blake Leitch

Head of Commercial – Europe

Blake Leitch is the Head of Commercial for Europe at Biocon Biologics. He is responsible for driving business growth and expanding Biocon Biologics’ commercial footprint across Europe.

Blake brings over 20 years of international healthcare leadership experience across Europe, North America, and Asia, successfully managing diverse, multi-cultural teams. His expertise in Profit & Loss management, developing and executing growth strategies, and driving commercial innovation will be crucial in accelerating the growth of our high-potential European business. Additionally, Blake has played a key role in formulating corporate-level strategies for biosimilars and curating a sustainable product portfolio.

Before joining Biocon Biologics, Blake served as Vice President and Head of Europe, Canada, and Partner Markets for Biogen’s Biosimilars Business Unit. Previous to that, he held leadership roles, including Managing Director, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and General Manager, Consumer Health, at Bayer, where he spearheaded business growth, strategic planning and capability building.

Blake holds an Honours Commerce degree from Lakehead University Canada. He has completed Executive Leadership programs from Harvard University, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S., International Institute for Management in Lausanne, Switzerland, as well as ESADE, Madrid, Spain.

Blake is on the Executive Leadership Team of Biocon Biologics.
